The Challenge
La Segunda Group is one of Argentina's main insurance companies, with more than 90 years of experience and 1,200 offices nationwide.
The long-term injury claim process was long and manual. Teams used several systems (SIGA, Conexia, SRT) and spreadsheets with little integration. Over 700 active cases were handled with high effort and limited visibility.
La Segunda wanted to simplify the process, reduce manual work, and gain transparency. With Horizon, the goal was to find friction points and repetitive tasks, map the real process, and design improvements.
Methodology
The Horizon Approach
Horizon used its AI Engine to capture insights through short interviews with 7 case managers and 2 medical auditors.
In under five weeks, Horizon delivered: a full process map (BPMN), a dashboard of insights grouped by effort and impact, and improvement initiatives for traceability and efficiency.
AI agents interviewed 9 employees across Claims and Medical Audit, 100% team coverage. The full process was mapped and analyzed in just 48 hours using Horizon's conversational AI. Identified 10 key findings, including automation, integration, and workflow redesign opportunities.
Results were used to start building a new Medical Follow-Up Platform (SDS-241493) for chronic case management. Horizon dashboards now guide next steps on automation, alerts, and system integrations.
The Results
